Dillo Interactive Privacy Policy

1. Who we are and what this policy covers

Dillo Studios LLC, doing business as Dillo Interactive (“Dillo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), is responsible for the personal information we handle under this policy.

This policy covers our games, related support and online services, websites, and communities, including:

• My Little Blood Cult, on iOS and Android.
• The Four Money Bears, including The Four Money Bears: Berryville and related services we operate.
• www.dillointeractive.com and www.thefourmoneybears.com, to the extent operated by Dillo.

An app-specific privacy notice may provide additional details. Services operated independently by Apple, Google, community platforms, or other companies are subject to their own privacy policies. This does not reduce our responsibility for providers handling information on our behalf.

2. Our approach to privacy

We limit personal information to what is needed for the features you use, service reliability, security, support, and applicable legal obligations. We explain optional collection before it begins and obtain consent when required. Declining optional collection does not prevent access to features that do not need that information.

We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use children’s personal information for targeted advertising. We do not collect sensitive information for unrelated purposes.

3. Information we collect

The information handled depends on the game, platform, and features you use. Data stored only on your device is different from data transmitted to us or our providers.

Information you provide. When you contact support, submit a form, or send a privacy request, we receive your email address, the contents of your message, and any attachments or identifiers you choose to provide. Please avoid sending passwords, payment card details, government identification, health information, or other sensitive information.

Game and device information. The following app-specific disclosures describe information transmitted off your device, including collection by integrated software providers:

Accounts and platform features. Accounts for players are created via Playfab and only for determining errors in purchasing and progress. 

Purchases. Where purchases are available, the relevant store processes payment under its own privacy policy.

Permissions and sensitive data. We request permission at the point it is needed and provide any additional disclosure or consent required before access. Device permissions can be changed in device settings.

4. How we use information

We use the information identified above only for the purposes disclosed for the relevant service, including, where applicable:

• Providing requested game features, saving or restoring progress, and validating purchases.
• Diagnosing errors, resolving crashes, and maintaining service performance.
• Responding to support questions and privacy requests.
• Protecting users and services against fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access.
• Sending updates you requested, with an unsubscribe option for promotional emails.
• Meeting legal obligations and resolving disputes.

We do not use information for a materially different purpose without providing notice and obtaining consent where required.

5. When we disclose information

We disclose information only as described in the app-specific disclosures above or in these circumstances:

• Service providers: Providers performing hosting, support, diagnostics, or other disclosed functions on our behalf. We require them to protect information at least as strongly as this policy requires and restrict their use to the authorized service.
• Platform services: Apple, Google, or another platform when needed for a feature you choose, such as purchases or cloud saves, as disclosed above.
• Legal and safety needs: When required by law or reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, protect safety, or establish or defend legal rights. We limit the disclosure to what is necessary.
• Business transactions: If a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer involves personal information, the recipient must honor applicable privacy obligations. We provide notice of material changes when required.
• Your direction: When you specifically request or authorize a disclosure.

We do not publish support messages or private account details.

6. Advertising, analytics, cookies, and tracking

My Little Blood Cult: My little blood cult is not geared towards children, and uses standard Unity Ads tracking. We do not handle tracking for third party platforms.

The Four Money Bears: Third party ads are only set up to be directly geared towards children under the age of 13

Websites: dillointeractive.com & thefourmoneybears.com only have basic tracking.

Where required, optional cookies and tracking remain off until consent is given. If an iOS feature involves tracking as defined by Apple, we obtain App Tracking Transparency permission before tracking. Refusing tracking permission does not block unrelated game features. Device advertising controls do not necessarily stop essential security or diagnostic processing.

7. Children and The Four Money Bears

The Four Money Bears is designed with children and families in mind. The restrictions for My Little Blood Cult do not determine who may use The Four Money Bears.

The Four Money Bears: We do not store or keep any information for any player, all information is only saved locally in the game and we never track anything.

When verifiable parental consent is legally required, we provide parents with direct notice and obtain that consent before collecting, using, or disclosing a child’s personal information. Any limited collection permitted without parental consent is restricted to the applicable legal exception. A parental gate or app-store age rating does not substitute for required parental consent.

We do not require a child to provide more information than reasonably necessary to participate. We do not sell children’s information, use it for targeted advertising, or collect it to build unrelated profiles. Children’s information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the specific purpose for which it was collected.

A parent or legal guardian may contact support@dillointeractive.com to review their child’s information, request deletion, withdraw consent, or refuse further collection or use. We verify parental authority using a proportionate process and explain if a feature cannot continue without the necessary information.

My Little Blood Cult: It is not directed to children under 13. If we learn that children’s information was collected in circumstances requiring parental consent without that consent, we stop the unauthorized processing and delete the information unless retention is legally required.

8. Retention and security

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary for its disclosed purpose, unless a specific legal obligation requires longer retention.

• Support correspondence: As long as account is active.
• Account and cloud-save records, if applicable: As long as account is active.
• Diagnostic and security logs: NEVER
• Purchase and legal records: NEVER
• Children’s information: NEVER
• Backups: NEVER

We use safeguards appropriate to the information, including standard Playfab protocols. No system is completely secure. If a breach requires notice, we notify affected individuals or authorities as required by law.

9. Request deletion of personal or sensitive data

To request removal of personal or sensitive data associated with My Little Blood Cult, The Four Money Bears, or another Dillo service, email support@dillointeractive.com.

Use the subject line “Privacy Data Deletion Request” and include:

• The game or service name and whether you use iOS, Android, or another platform.
• The email address or player identifier associated with the information, if available.
• Whether you want specific information removed or your entire account and associated data deleted.

You do not need to reinstall the game to email a request. Do not send passwords or unnecessary sensitive documents. We request only the information reasonably necessary to locate the relevant records and verify authority.

Account deletion: Please email support@dillointeractive.com to your account deleted, our servers take up to 5 minutes to delete and we have found issues with that flow in the past. Where accounts are supported, the account deletion process removes the account and associated personal information, subject to the limited retention exceptions described here. Temporary deactivation is not deletion.

We respond within the time required by applicable law. [Insert the operational deletion completion period and confirmation process.] If additional time is permitted and needed, we explain the reason and expected completion date.

We delete or irreversibly de-identify the information covered by a verified request and instruct providers acting on our behalf to do the same. We may retain narrowly limited records where needed to meet legal obligations, prevent fraud, protect security, or resolve legal claims, where permitted by law. We explain the categories retained, the reason, and applicable retention period when responding. Backup copies expire according to the schedule in Section 8 and remain protected against routine use.

Information stored only on your device may require deletion through the game’s controls, device storage settings, or removal of the app. Uninstalling does not necessarily remove cloud saves or server records. Apple and Google independently control information held in their store accounts. Deleting a Dillo account does not necessarily cancel an app-store subscription; manage subscriptions through the relevant store.

10. Other privacy choices and rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access or obtain a copy of your information, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, and receive portable data. Where applicable, you may also opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising and appeal a denied request.

Send requests or appeals to support@dillointeractive.com. Authorized agents may submit requests where the law permits, subject to appropriate verification. We do not discriminate against people for exercising applicable privacy rights. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

Where European, UK, or Swiss data protection law applies, you can request information from supprt@dillointeractive.com. You may complain to your local data protection authority.

11. International processing

 Where information crosses borders, we use safeguards required by applicable law, such as recognized adequacy decisions or approved contractual protections. Contact us for information about safeguards relevant to your data.

12. Changes and contact

We update this policy when our services or practices change and revise the effective date. We provide prominent notice of material changes and obtain renewed consent before new processing where required. An update does not itself authorize a new use that requires consent.
